Title: Display at Canoe Lake, Southsea. Sunday 1st September.

 Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team and the Southern Model Lifeboat Society will be staging a joint display on Sunday 1st September at Canoe Lake, Southsea, Portsmouth.
 We blow em up, they rescue them :D

Southern Model Lifeboat Society
and
Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team

WILL BE HOLDING A DISPLAY AT THE CANOE LAKE SOUTHSEA on
SUNDAY 1st. SEPTEMBER - FROM 11.30am UNTIL ABOUT 4.00pm

ALL IN AID OF THE RNLI
SEE THE MODEL LIFEBOATS SAILING
AND ENACTMENTS BY THE DISPLAY TEAM ON THE LAKE.
ALSO STATIC DISPLAYS.
FREE OF CHARGE, DONATIONS TO THE LIFEBOATS APPRECIATED .

Weather looks good for the weekend, the Southern Model Lifeboat Society are press ganging members from all over, while the Display Team are arming up. If you are in the area come on down, you will be made welcome :-))

Good luck to all,I hope you get many people attending,and I hope they will make lots of donations to the RNLI.
For all you modellers  and others who have not yet seen one of the Portsmouth displays and are in the area,please go along and support them,it will really be worth seeing.

just one thing............other that the models looked beeeaoooootiful.......was that Sea king on reply 11 a real one flying low or a model ???????? %% %% %% %% %% %% %%

I think the gazebos and the models would have took off if the sea king was that low Neil :} .Assume its Bobs model,(Bob and John and Tony travel around as much as I do lol) Big difference is thatt hey put their models on the water :embarrassed: :embarrassed:

Just heard from Tony Olliff, they raised £248.68 on Sunday, going towards a new lifeboat and station for Selsey. The Southern Model Lifeboat Society has now raised £2923.05 towards that cause, so well done to them :-))
Oh, and my sailing ship broke down <:(

 GAZOULAND to  a guy had a very sophisticated quadricopter.
