Hi all,
Just after some advice off you as I have commissioned a Tyne class lifeboat the RFA Sir Galahad to be built and I really would like to have a sound unit in it. Problem is, I wouldn't know how to set it up or how to get hold of the correct sound for the engines as they were the awesome sounding 425bhp engines that you could hear a mile off?
Any help would be appreciated.

sorry Mike, me being over enthusiastic again. Just trying to work out how I can get that sound and didn't want to disturb you as you are doing such an amazing job on the build.
Sorry,
Im stupid

You could of course just go and ask a station with that lifeboat and ask if you can record the sound when they go out on a run.
Stations have gladly done it before, just ask.
So long as its on a training night, and you also get to go out on a lifeboat.
