Title: new to 2.4
Post by: xlaorta on August 13, 2013, 02:43:25 am
i am considering going over to 2.4 for cars, boats-sail and motor and non flying flyingboat (im no flyer and no interest in rebuilding broken planes)

I am thinking of a semi decent tx and  reasonably priced rx

Would any orange rx bind to a spectrum ds6 ? Any suggestions on tx for around £80 and tx £12

Exactly what I use.
DX6i DSMX with orange receivers in my yachts
tugs and springer.
Never a glitch over the past 2 years of use.
Hobby king do cheaper receivers.
I got four from Hong Kong for under 20 squids
inc postage.

I think there are some Transmitter only deals
around some of the UK model suppliers
Mine was 70 squids from Kings Lynn Model shop.

I use Orange receivers with a DX5e with absolutely no problems. Two new Orange R615 receivers just arrived from Hong Kong this morning. Took all of 11 days at a cost of 15USD :-)) :-)) :-))

Unless you need the multi-model facilities of the DX6i the DX5e is much easier to set up (or maybe its just me %% )
