Via Email to Mayhem...

RNLI hovercraft started life as SR.N6,  finished as RNLI hovercraft H-001.   Goes well on land, water trials on Tuesday.   Martin , very many thanks,  Pete

No water trials!   Got to the water, switched everything on, and Bang! the propeller went flying past.   It was the original prop and I thought I had secured it well, but obviously not.   Have ordered new prop and adaptor, so watch this space.  Pete

These things are sent to try us Pete, hopefully all should be okay on the next test.

That is a great change from the original, shame about the prop but I would really like to see some water shots when you test her out

An update:   Fitted a new prop, went much better on a tarmac surface, but still not happy with the propulsion.   Am now in the process of fitting an inrunner brushless motor and ESC to get more revs and hopefully better propulsion.   As you may have gathered I am a slow old git, but I will get there in the end and show you the final result.  Thanks for the interest,  Pete.
