Title: Lilydale Radio Yacht Club - Melbourne AU
Post by: Furious on June 10, 2007, 09:55:26 am
Hi Everyone,

This is my first post here...may I say I am very impressed with this forum.
Plenty of goings on and lots of information to learn. I must say I will be visiting and posting here on many more occasions.

A little background on myself, I am the webmaster of the Lilydale Radio Yacht Club here in Melbourne.
Website: http://home.vicnet.net.au/~lryc/   one can read all about our club at the website.

I love sailing radio yachts.....not so much on the competitive side, but more for the sheer enjoyment.
I am just starting out with electric boats and have taken on a project building the Smit Nederland. Although I have been given a head start, as the hull has been completed for me. Anyway one has to start somewhere.

Thank you for allowing me to be a member here and I look forward to communicating with you all soon.

Great to have another Australian with us.

How many Australians is that now?

In fact, we must be global as we have Europe, The Americas, Asia, and Australasia represented that I know of.

Anyone from Africa yet?

Don't think we've spread quite that far yet, but at great risk to themselves, Martin's missionaries have managed to sign up several from the Newcastle area.
