Title: Plans from Dutch Maritime Museums.
Post by: tonyH on September 22, 2013, 12:49:45 pm
Went to Amsterdam Maritime Museum last week and spoke with the curator.

Apparently, the price they charge for scanned drawings is 4 euros per copy plus a one-off admin charge of 15 euros. They do like to try to limit an order to, say, 6 copies because he does it manually.

Their web site is on WWW.MARITIEMDIGITAAL.NL (http://www.MARITIEMDIGITAAL.NL)

I've had a quick look and there seem to be a fair few possible projects.

I e-mailed them last night because they list builders drawings for one of the 'fun' cruisers of 1892 (Koningin Wilhelmina der Nederlanden - See below) and I want to check availability/cost so I'll report when/if I get a reply.
