hi model mayhems
fitting my raboesch 18/20 bow thruster found the o ring to provide a seal ,also in the package was an fibre split ring ,looked on deans marines site with the parts shown , contacted Adrian at speed line he did not know where the bit would be located ,i will put some fernox lx 40 which is a no setting silicone on the outer surface prior to screwing the motor down this is used by plumbers on screwed fittings

Right excuse me for saying this but silicone will NOT work to hold a bow thruster in ANY boat NO WAY.You need to set the thruster in P40 grp paste and then the outside with filler...this is the only way to do it.......you will never paint the plummers silcone.....paint will NOT stick to it annd cause a reaction......If you have allready fixed it into the hull the ONLY way to get rid of silicone on the hull is to WASH it all off with Either cellulose thinners/Acetone/panel wipe
