Hello Everyone,
I used to be a member on here a few years ago, but a due to several reasons I had less and less time to continue with the hobby. Although I did keep two of my favourite and most cherished models (my first ever build, the model slipways Al khubar tug and a semi kit of HMS Campbeltown)
I've since started flying RC Helis and spend most of my free time playing with them. But something's rekindled my love for building model boats, only this time I want something a bit more powerful.
I recently came across some plans for a 30 inch catamaran and thought now the winter months are upon us I thought I'd have a crack at building something designed for a little more speed. So I've had the drawings blown up to 50 inches. So I plan on sharing my progress with you in the not to distant future.
Cheers, Dan

Hi Dan
After Irishcarguy got me into watching the Americas cup I would love to see a catamaran build.

Thanks all!
Yes this one will be a power boat with a 6s lipo brushless set up. Hopefully I'll start it this week :-))
Is it true something happened to the forum resulting in a lot of profiles being lost because I couldn't log in with my old details?
Cheers, Dan

Thanks Ned :embarrassed:
I can be particularly thick sometimes; It even happens when I think I'm being clever ... also when I think my wife will pay any attention to what I say.
In any case I will follow the Cat and learn something new.
