Hey there folks,
I was a member a few years back and lost touch with the site after moving and internet changes and timing conflicts.
I am a New Zealand born boat nut who moved to America and have been dabbling in building since I have been here.
I am a scratch builder who finds scrap wood and normally works from plans I find on ebay and in the odd magazine I scrounge up. I usually build Thames River tugs but generally stray from the deck design and make a composite of several styles that I find from searches.
I have been looking through the forum and I am, as always, amazed at the quality of the builds and the detailing is a testament to the time and effort dedicated to the work. I can only hope to get up to that level sometime in the future.
I look forward to seeing so much and learning a lot from you guys.

I tried to find my old log in here but it doesn't show but if you remember me that is great, I hope.
I can't find any of my old posts either so I will just have to share my amateur efforts all over again.
-
Try (Admin) they might be able to get some of your history for you.
-
It is okay, I enjoyed sharing them last time.
Mainly just a few pics of a build I did and a couple of float tests.
I spend more time reading here and learning than anything else.
Found it, was not the name I remember using but it is the right one

Checked your link , nice work and welcome back.

Thank you.
I guess I didn't get to post the float test pictures before I moved so I will dig them up and show you what the Lady Lou ended up looking like.
My wife was tickled when I named it after her.
-
Look forward to seeing the pics. Will they be on this thread or your link thread ?
On a winner if you named it after the wife l.o.l.
-
Added the pics to the old thread, no float test sorry, slight logistics error there.
