I thought a Tamiya 1/350 scale HMS King George V might be a fun project to RC. I added some PE and brass barrels to detail it and powered it with 4 Orion servo motors controlled by a small ESC. The radio gear is a 4-channel 40mhz Zebra set and I used some 5g servos to move the main turrets. The prop tubes and shafts are made up of brass tube and rod. The PE was very fiddly and I didn't use too much as it's very easy to damage from all the handling the model will get.

The deck is real wood, from Artwox. A few more pictures.

That's looking good !
What size battery are you using?
How does she perform on the water?
Cheers

She runs off 4 NiMh AA batteries. No sea trials yet as I've only just finished her.

She looks really good- a working model that can be displayed on the shelf! Working turrets at that scale is particularly impressive. Are all of the turret servos linked to one channel?
-
No, they are independent. The forward turrets are on one channel and the aft turret is on another.
