Bonjour,
I knew that the Stuart D10 was a good machine and I discovered it could PUSH (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPPux5exRNE) or PULL (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkbGPp5QIno) real boats.
Very proud to show it during our annual meeting THE VIDEO OF THE EVENT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alh4AYmwV9A) as you can see it at 3'30"", I had not realized that when a 20 kilos tugboat turns right at full speed, a 400 kilos launch goes on... straight on (3'45") ... And the captain is in the mess (4'00")...
The lake is about 1,40m deep but the mud is 60 cm thick, so, with a gas tank still opened, no risk fire, I easily found the sank tug.
Hopefully, I have just been obliged to change all the servos because they rusted immediatly, the lesson is cheap.
Next time, I let Moulay-Idris do the job with a doubled length rope !

lovely tug

Bonjour,
It is an old Robbe kit, ABS hull and plastic supertructures. Built before the steam plant implementation, we have been obliged to cut and rebuild the deck as you can see it HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utYZJDJPBVg) .
Other lesson, for a steam plant, the boat should be built around the plant instead of trying to insert a plant in a too small hull !

Bonjour,
Eric is currently using a Go Pro Hero III Black Edition mounted either on his RC boats, cars or drones (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OhlmuPXhN4).
Personally, I use either an old Canon Ixus IS200 or my HTC One smartphone.

Bonjour,
I can confirm that the Reeves Warrior MK3 is indeed a powerful steam machine HERE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kzu3YQDqUl0)and THERE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4AcmhL6hJc) :-))

Bonjour,
A 32 kilos tug pulling a 350 + 80 kilos massive boat HERE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zEwhq29De4) where three electric Voith tugs are needed THERE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4DPwm7uMbA&list=UUZjhu6wG0hbu2NrczYYklDg) :-))

It is nice to see that bath tubs are in use in many countries for appropriate plimsol line and steam plant testing! Very nice work!
-
It is certainly funny but I find unconscious to overfly the crowd with a drōne, especially of if near.
Later we roar against the bans.
Sorry for the tug boat

Bonjour,
I am sorry Gazou, but this topic is about model tugs pulling, there is no drone in the videos highlighting my comments.
Of course, I would be happy to experiment a steam drone if it would exist.

Hello Raphaźl
No hypocrisy you want, a drone is not visible or!
The girl filmed in four or five meters sticks out the tongue in what?
For good measure I would say that make navigate offshore at the same time as sailboats is irresponsible also.
This video is filled with examples not to be followed
best regards

Bonjour,
Having experienced a shipwreck because of a short turn at full speed with the tug Jan pulling a four people launch, I use less than the half of the power of Moulay-idris and ride SMOOTHLY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJptRVqmt8k)

:-))
Bravo Raphaźl!
Happy to see the boat OK
