yes, smoke on boats and crafts brings so realism when it runs.. is not a new idea, but just completed for a new boat.. just a bellows from a kids bicycle.. and a servo converted to run continuos.. and two pooja stics, (incense stics) are placed inside the smoke tube, is HD PVC pipe.. and puff.. puff...

simple working...

brilliant idea...........ideal for a Scottish puffer. neil. :-)) :-))

yes Sir.. its fun.. and here is the craft...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJokfpVMwBs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJokfpVMwBs)
thank you..

Couldn't agree more. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Incense sticks must smell better than baby oil {-) {-) {-)

So Ingenious, real "out of the box" thinking.
-
That is cool.
-
Now if you could get steam or diesel scented sticks.........
-
try dipping joss sticks in derv, that when dried a bit may give the required smell...as an ex trucker the smell on clothes if spilt doesent wash out for ages.....might be worth a try....tony
-
Might also burn a bit qicker %% %%

good morning.. thank you all of my loving Friends..
-
hi its a realy good idea..
-
thank you..
-
Great concept :-))
-
Very clever, I like it :-))
-
Great Idea. Need more smoke? - double up on the Incense sticks. I'm no inventor or scratch builder but couldn't a small fan unit be used, run off of the motor esc?

thank you Martin sir..
thank you spooksgone..
Buccaneer.. yes, can add more sticks for greater smoke.. can also add an aluminum mesh, inside to absorb and to radiate heat to a great extent, and instead of using a fan and one other ESC, we can use a spare servo, or a servo unsued, or a servo with damaged gears, as taking out its motor and printed circuit board, while removing the potentio meter, and adding two 2.7 kilo ohms resistor, so we can make a simple blower with foam board, and the blower can fitted with the motor of the servo.. so, by connecting the servo to a desired channel, can run, adjust the speed, or can make puffing action by switching on it and off.. with the power from the RX itself.. thank you..

hi iv been thinking about your smoke machine..as iv already stated its brilliant...im thinking about it/making one...but using a small fan out of a old pc/12 volt one...but then it could be too much/wind...............
-
Sir, its easy to add a fan for blowing the smoke.. a 12 Volts DC PC fan will be big one, mostly in to 4 inches.. and yes will be great flow.. you can add a flap door just under the opening of the fan.. so can adjust the opening, so can adjust the flow.. more easily, you can make a centrifugal blower, made of foam board, driven by a toy motor, can add to any craft, will be compact.. as the toy motor runs at 1.5 volts.. will be easy and so compact.. you can also add a driving circuit to the motor, so can switch it on and off, and can control the on + off times by turning a potentiometer, and can add this potentiometer to the throttle channel, so can increase or decrease the rate related to throttle..
and above all, you can use a motor directly from a servo.. as a blower fan..
here added a motorized centrifugal blower with a toy motor.. the plastic bottle acts as the smoke pit here.. and a silicon tube for delivery..

Very clever idea, congratulations, I am going to have a go and making one, will post some photo's when I have done :-))

thank you Sir.. its nice..
