Title: Model Boats in Scarborough (N. Yorkshire)

Hi there,
Nearly finished my Model Slipway Yorkshireman and now I need somewhere to sail it. I now find that Scarborough appears to NOT have a club or anywhere to sail boats. We've got The Mere (now taken over by fishermen), Peasholm Park (home to the Battle of the River Plate enacted 3 times a week and other times full of rowing boats etc) and that appears to be it. Surely I'm not the only person in the whole of the Scarborough area who builds model boats! Is there anybody out there :-)

probably the nearest to you will be carnaby Bridlington mbc regards bill......
