on the waveley main cabin..theres 2 what look like arials has any one any idea how i can replicate these????

I haven't made any yet, but thought I would try taking a piece of wire, dipping it into white paint, and letting it dry.  Once dry, repeat the process (much like making taper candles). Keep going until it is the right thickness.  Hopefully it will taper like a candle.  If a springy wire, like piano wire were used, and a flexible paint, like acrylic, it might end up being flexible, and not susceptible to getting kinked or damaged.  The tip could be dipped in black acrylic at the end as well.


If you try, let me know the results.

hi all not knowing were to purchase the rope barrel i decided in scratch built tradition to make one 1st pic is what i was aiming for  :embarrassed: ps i nicked her sewing real %)

next is handrails ..then the big sortout of the hull might refiberglass it give it more strenth then refit deck
