Title: Plan Loan Request - Vanguard
Post by: joppyuk1 on July 23, 2014, 04:10:16 pm
I've been digging out the various plans I have for  HMS Vanguard (1945) as base for a new project. Unfortunately they are all to a small scale, normally 50ft to the inch. I have discovered large scale ones giving hulls over 4 feet long, which won't fit the car.
Does anyone have a copy of the MyHobby store version they might be prepared to loan so I can get it resized? Is this the same plan being offered by the Taubmann catalogue. Reason for loan rather than purchase - I'm not mean, just financially reduced (saving up for daughter's wedding next year ((do you realise how much the dress costs?, and that's only one item)). If MrsJ complains about the cost of my toys again I can point out that they don't get used once then hung in a cupboard.
Sorry, seem to have got carried away.

I've already borrowed them as part of my research. Thank you anyway.
