Well, took the plunge and bought the Radio link T4EU, bound ok to the receiver, but have and issue with setting it up. Problem occurs when I switch the rx /battery on and and tx, motor runs continually at high revs and the esc doesn't kick in, can anyone confirm which channels I should have the esc and servo in? There are 7 on the rx and and there were no destructions to this effect, just for binding the rx. {:-{

1 rudder
3 esc
thats where i would start

Channel 3 Throttle
Switch the Tx on first and move thottle full up - full down - centralise and then switch Rx on.
This bypasses the aircraft engine safety setup.
It was built for aircraft/helicoptor and supposed to throttle engine down as a safety measure

Check the receiver outputs by plugging a servo into each one in turn and wiggling all the Tx sticks etc until you find the one that operates it - then make a note somewhere.
ALWAYS switch on the Tx first or the receiver will go straight into failsafe. When session is finished, switch the Rx off first.

BTW: Does the T4EU still have that safety / Arm mode when you switch it on?
Fooled me for weeks when setting up twin ESC....
Can't get that link to work, try: http://lazertoyz.com/assets/images/Manuals/t4eu.pdf

thanks for the comments chaps, soon as I get a cuppa in me I will head out to the shed and sort it. :-))

:-))sorted now, this arrangement leaves me with throttle on the right stick and rudder on the left, is this normal for this TX. Just switch the one brain cell around and I'll be fine.

Should be mode 2
Throttle on left hand stick
ESC plugged into channel 3
Rudder on right hand stick
Servo plugged into channel 1

got it sorted now, servo 1 , esc 3, and turn tx on first as mentioned, toggle stick up/down centre, to sort failsafe, then turn on rx...happy days O0
