this may sound like a stupid question, but here goes. I have a Marathon 6 volt battery pack but i can not remember how to use it as it is so long ago that I purchased it. I have only recently began another modelling project so i never got to use the battery pack before and now I have forgotten how it is used. Is it something to do with the receiver. I know it has to be charged up but what do I plug it into or what is it attached to?

Can you post a picture of it, please? It could be one of two or three different types (SLA, NiCAD and NiMH) and the answer depends on which one.

It is NiMH type. made by Orion

That narrows it down a little bit.
Can you tell us what type of connector it has fitted to the leads? You can see the different types here http://www.componentshop.co.uk/leads-and-connectors/connectors (http://www.componentshop.co.uk/leads-and-connectors/connectors)
Also what is the quoted capacity (usually given in milliamp.hours, or maH for short)?
Finally how big is the pack (L x W x H)?
