Title: The Whale Has Wings trilogy

Hi everyone


I've just bought this trilogy of books from a well known online shop and I have read the first 7 Chapters of the first book. Has anyone else read them? I'm finding them fascinating as a 'what if' story. They are written in a non fiction style but tell a story of what if some men in the Admiralty had pushed their points about the FAA in 1932 how WW2 could have been dramatically different! The building of the new generation of fleet armoured carriers could have been built much earlier with much more capable aircraft.
I've only just started reading them but I would recommend them already if you like 'what if' or 'if only' stories.

I'll have a look in the next two books for a mention of Habakkuk  ok2

Sorry Jaymac, I had a skim through the three books and I couldn't find any mention of the Habakkuk.
Plenty of mentions of metal carriers such as Ark Royal, Illustrious, Victorious, Formidable, Colossus, Glory, and Audacious, all them in service before 1941!!!
