I wonder if the Billing Smit Nederland in kit form comes with fittings or has these be purchased separately?

I was given a part finished kit of Smit Nederland and it came complete with fittings. Looking at the illustrations in the instructions I am sure  that they were included with the kit. In my experience Billing kits come with all necessary fittings.

yes and no
older kits had the fittings sold separately new kit had them included but then the whole kit was a higher price

Bought my "neddy" in 1997 - circa £245 - fittings kit was extra, can't remember how much that was now. :o

Hello again!

Another question in this topic,..I saw a picture of what i think was an older version of this kit, when older=without fittings if I understand it right, it also seemed that the wooden parts were to be cut out of the wooden sheets, the newer version has the fittings but what about the wooden parts, are they die cut or laser or have they to be cut out completely with a saw?

Most of the wooden parts were, I think, laser cut - just needed cutting from the sheets and the edges cleaned up. There were some wooden parts, such as the mooring bollards, that needed to be cut to size from stock dowel (supplied with the kit).

Old Billings kits had the parts printed on the wood and you would have to cut them out . New kits moved to Die cutting

Keep an eye on the fit of your deck, a few of the first kits we sold when they went from die cut to laser cut were about 10mm longer than they should have been and required a bit of a trim, not hard to do but it can be a bit off putting for a newcomer.
