I find I have two copies of Nicholas Leach's excellent book,
"The Waveney Lifeboats. An illustrated history......1967 - 1999".
If anyone is interested I will post it (at cost from France) free of charge.
This well illustrated soft-back A4 size book of 88 pages is a fascinating history of the subject especially for model builders.
If more than one person wants the book then the first to reply and correctly answer, "In which port is Jack Cousteau's research ship "Calypso" currently moored, awaiting restoration?" will receive the book.

La Rochelle, Brittany?

OK Robert...the book is yours. The port is La Rochelle but it is not in Btittany, south of me in Charante Maratime.
Send me a pm with your co-ordinates and I will send the book to you.

The book arrived safely this morning :)
Thanks Roger!
The excuses not to build a 44 footer are diminishing rapidly.....
