Title: Romanian destroyer R class
Post by: marinaru_ro on January 03, 2015, 07:42:55 am
Hello Gents and Happy New Year to all!
Since almost two years i'm working to redraw/obtain correct plans for the romanian destroyers R class, built at Naples in 1929 after british Thornycroft plans and using the Shakespeare class flotilla leaders design.

At this time i am somehow stuck at the hull plating diagramm.
Does anyone have a set of drawings that can help me? No matter if they are from another class of destroyers, i will use those only as a guide for plates dimensions and arrangement. I am willing to pay for them.

Thank you
Regards,
George

I can only reccomend contacting the National Maritime Museum at Grenwich. If they still exist then they should have them.

You will have to buy the plan/plans, but you will get no better reference than what they were built from:O)
