Hi Lads
Am now starting my first real r/c boat, fitted all the prop and rudder last nite, did a bath test and had a small amount of water come in. I cannot find any holes or gaps around the prop shaft , gave it lots of epoxy. the only thing I can think is maybe its coming down the prop shaft? with the rudder I had to add a rubber O ring, however nothing like this with the prop, is this normal? when I add oil/grease will this stop the water? thanks

Simple answer Yes. I have sent you a P/M. I use prop shaft grease from Robbe but I am sure fellow members will advise on other products they use.
