Title: Power boat water near Hook?

Hi Martin,

I have an Ic boat and would like to give it a go in a lake, however find it very difficult to find a lake were I can do so? I live in Hook RG27, do you know any place or clubs were I can join as to give the boat a go?

Southampton model power boat club is primarily i/c. They have a lake off the A31 just past Cadnam, probably about 40-45 minutes from Hook. Look at their site www.southampton-mpbc.org.uk .Get hold of Tony Edgeley the Secretary, very friendly and helpful. You do need a key to get through the Forestry Commission barrier but Tony will explain all that.
