Hi folk,
I am new to Mayhem but not to modelling as I started as a boy, then had a long layoff and now in my second childhood ( I'm 76) I have started to build again. My current build is the Precedent Huntsman 31 and the kit is 46.5 inches and all wood.
Regards to all. Glyn

Hi 49perkasa,
Thanks for kind response, if your name is anything to go on you are from the same stable IE. Precedent.
What size is your boat? wood hull or G/F.

Hi Mark T,
Nitro V6! What was that monster, I know that I have been off the scene for a long time and have a lot of catching up to do but that was futuristic.

Hi Sparkey,
Thanks for kind words. I am looking to build another Huntsman and have obtained a 20:1 scale map that I am looking to upscale to 8:1 then build from scratch. Wish you all the best with your restoration job.

Hi folk,
Just got to paint bottom of boat blue, then I can get on with the electrics. I will need a bit of guideance with that as I never got into R/C in my early modeling days.

Hi Folk,
Finished the boat and took it to the water on monday 30th March, big mistake! The wind was so strong and the water was rough. The paintwork took a hammering on the concrete walls due to the Rudder setup being wrong and the motor terminals round the wrong way. Talk about a baptism of fire. The paint will be easy to repair and I have corrected the other faults so will try again Sunday.
