When working with Acrylic sheet it is wise to remove the protective covering before attempting to glue it
Spent half an hour today wondering why the dam stuff wouldn't stick :D

What adhesive do you use?
I've never really had good success with bonding acrylic. I am left astounded by programs on Sky like Tanked where they make huge fish tanks. All the joints are butt jointed and never fail.

You can't beat modified acrylics for strength.

Uhu Plus Acrylit, or Starloc's Methacrylate

Also Deluxe materials Super Crylic and fusion, Stabilit express, Devcon Plastic welder I and II. Hobbyking also seel small tubes of modfied acrylic very inexpensively.
All of those are modified acrylic along with the suggestions in the last post.

Trouble is (with the clear stuff) if you take all the covering off and then put the sheet to one side, you can't find it again :embarrassed:
