Title: john lambert plans
Post by: stevebo on May 22, 2015, 03:14:03 pm
Hi anyone,

This is my first post. I want to scratchbuild a flower class corvette, and have ordered, some time ago, full plans from Mr Lambert. However,
he phoned me a couple of weeks ago to say he was not well, and couldn't say when he could get them to me. My further attempts to contact him have been fruitless; my cheque has not been cashed. Does anyone know what the situation is? I can't see any other plans anywhere and for such a popular subject, there seems to be a dearth of information. Help!

In addition to the plans you could look for Conway's "Anatomy of a Ship - HMS Agassiz"  You'll probably get a copy off fleabay. It's an invaluable requirement for the corvette builder.

Traplet Publications sell three of John Lamberts plans for Flower Class Corvettes, 1) three early boats,
2)three modifieds and 3)  HMS Alisma.
Hope that helps.

I heard that he is battling the 'C'

Is it possible that they are still available through the likes of Cornwall Model Boats
