A word of caution:  Attempts to build a working model of a semi submersible can be a minefield in working practicality.  I have the T Shirt  :}

MS-3 was salvaged, around March of 2007.
The final photo is from last week, the Mighty Servant 3 in Rotterdam.
 :-))
After refloating MS-3 was towed to the  Capetown for repairs, then to Zwolle for a refit.

The superstructure was cut off, and a new level was added to the
weather deck and then the original superstructure was put back.
