Title: Steam launch on Lake Caldonazzo,Italy

Recently saw this beautiful steam launch sailing on Lake Caldonazzo, Northern Italy. I have very limited Italian and the owner no English but we managed to establish that he had scratch built everything on the model, including the steam plant.

Very nice. Looks like it is powered by a Stirling engine, not steam.

It does have a Stirling look to it, but is definitely steam powered. It might have been a compound?

Sorry gents. Not familiar enough with steam plants to provide any further information.
However sounds like a good excuse to go back to Italy and see if I can contact the builder. Need to brush up my Italian first though.
