These are popular http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__28224__HobbyKing_120A_Boat_ESC_4A_UBEC.html (http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__28224__HobbyKing_120A_Boat_ESC_4A_UBEC.html)
You need one for each motor, and don't forget to buy the programming card - it makes setting them up much easier than via the Tx.
Anything which has BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuitry) at the end means that the main motor battery also powers the receiver via the normal 3-wire (servo) plug connection to the speed controller. For practical purposes SBEC and UBEC are higher-current versions of the same process. If you have two speed controllers which both have BEC then you need to disable the BEC in one of them. See here and scroll down to "Disabling BEC ESCs". http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/wd.php (http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/wd.php) There's also an explanation of BEC under 'Articles' on the same website.

Hi
I use the Hobbyking car ESC's 60A(no water required) electric fan, smaller.
Power on/off switch on the ESC(no big main power switch required).
Programming card required.
You would only require a 45A ESC, but, your motors will run 14.8 volts(4S) so why the 60A ones.
Weight different 22 grams.

This one?

I've bought the 30Amp (without fan), how do they fare if it get slashed splashed?

Not quite with you there, old thing. Would you care to evaporate elucidate?

your use of the word evaporate may have been more relevant! - I guess Martin is talking about the ESC getting splashed !?

Ah! Thanks for that, Rich. Round here "slashed" has several different meanings. :o

:embarrassed:... yes, "sPlashed", ahem! :embarrassed:
As they are "car" ESC's are they susceptible to water ingress?

I wouldn't use those in damp conditions, several members at our local rc car club use them and they are sensitive to wet/damp conditions
