Best to have a scooter mechanic look at it. If it is on a mobility contract inspection and fix would be free.
Does sound like batteries or a connection to them. Do they get hot ?
-
hi no battries keep cold lifted scooter off ground could stop one wheel but not both gordon
-
Wait an see if anybody has any ideas.
back in my day if you could stop one wheel but not stop the two wheels meant the diff was working o.k and I don't know if these scooter have diffs but I doubt it.
-
hi their is a motor to each wheel nothing gets hot told to flatten battries then charge gordon
-
Try the recharge make sure your battery gauge is registering empty red light when discharged then full or green light on when fully charge.
Right of to the pond to see the boats good luck
-
If you can stop a motor by hand it would seem the
speed controller for that motor is supplying a very
weak input to the motor.
If the motors are designed to run at the same speed
and not used for steering as it is a three wheeler
and steering is by front wheel, then another check
on the motor drive after the battery has been run
down/discharged and then charged fully allows you to stop
One drive wheel by hand it would point to a fault
other than duff batteries, unless you have a battery
for each wheel motor in which case it could be a faulty
battery.

Hopefully that being the case a battery swap over would show this fault. If it was an easy job for Gordon to do
