Title: Is my receiver faulty?

I have an MSONIK 4 MARINE 15 ESC9 (I believe the current replacement is the VIPER range), and I'm not sure if this is a fault or a design issue - I have just connected the unit, set it up, seems to work OK in forward direction (proportional control), but in reverse, motor is either off or on full power. Any help please, do I need a new ESC?

HI the Msonik range was superseded by the Viper range quite a while ago. Does your speedo have a button in the middle of it? I have sent you a pm for you to contact me. The unit may just need resetting I have setting info for these units
