Bonjour handlebarbob,
Beautiful and clever model ! It will need to be populated, for example as my friends Alex and Jean-pierre's one :

Thank you Ray. Yes I had to design something to launch it and it makes a perfect stand to work on it as well.
Thank you Rhvrane. Lovely video of your friend's boat.
There are about 50 people and furniture that will be going on this project.
My wife Cathy makes them for me.
The photo is double the size of the actual figures in 1/48 scale

Bonjour handlebarbob,
You are a lucky guy, my wife does not share my passion ! 50 people of this quality ? Your boat will be really exceptional and I hope we will see it in a video with an appropriate music.
-
Great looking project with live steam as well! :-)) I can hear "Old Man River" in the background.

This little steam boat has taken me around 4000 hours to get this far. My wife Cathy severely underestimated the time in the post above. LOL. Maybe another 1000 to finish up with all the figures and furniture. All the planking was done individually. Hope you like viewing my video and photos.

Bob won both of the trophies given out at the Orca’s boat regatta this past Saturday in Jacksonville Florida. They said “we have a tie” and then they gave him the second plaque. He is so darned proud. Just look at that ear to ear grin!

Bonjour,
BRAVO handlebarbob ! Your x 000 hours old baby worths these awards !
And the boat has a real presence on the water, I wait for the next video with all the people making it alive.

Hearty Congratulations Bob - a beautiful job well executed. Hope to see more of your efforts for years to come. :-))

Ray.
