Hello!
I would like to let you know what happened with his gas fill-up valve on his gas tank, to one of our Former
Our friend Manjess use to prepare his steam boat before leading to his favorite pond; checking RC, filling up the boiler, greasding all parts and filled his tank.
Ready to fire up on the bank. :-))
Some of the items are made in China . :embarrassed:
5 min away from his home he heard a big leak noise in the back of the car , and soon came to his nose, a strong gas smell.
He stopped quickly and aerated the car for obvious safety reasons.
The problem came from the gas tank fill up valve - internal pressure : +/- about 2.5 bars at this time.
The spring and the lid has fallen down inside the tank..........................
Having a look at the thread will tell more : a cracked thread! %%

From now on, Manjess (and many others) have decided to buy good Euopean stuff . The difference of price does not justify such risks. O0
Hoping to be of any help.
Best regards. ok2
