Title: Kort nozzles

Hello Mayhemers,
Just got a beam trawler hull, it`s 960mm by 280mm, what size kort nozzle, prop and motor will I need? Can anyone give some advice, please?

  Hi,
      Why a Kort nozzle on a Trawler are you going to build a Tug from the hull? For that size of hull (depending what you will be doing with the boat) I would suggest around the 70mm size Kort and 4 blade prop if you want the Kort to work.

The Brixham Beamers have a single fixed Kort.
Probably Dutch influence.

What trawler is she a model of?
Any indication of the prop or rudder size on the plan?

Its a Eurokotter I got from Belgium there is a small plan but not to scale no sizes.
