Hello David,
At the moment things are OK at Balne Moor.
I went to have a look today and let us just say it would be easier to put a boat in the water than it was in the summer!
On the way back though the heavens opened up again, so we're still holding our breath.
As you might expect all the rivers in the locality are heavily swollen still despite the immediate crisis having passed.
Thanks for thinking about us

Hi Mike,
Glad to hear that all's well at the pond and I know where you are coming from re the boat launching, how much has the water level risen? at our place the water is directly under the timber capping and I can't remember it being that high before. At Marine lake they launch the sculling boats (I think that's what they are called) from a sort of peninsula off the main lake side, yesterday the water was over the top of it when normally its at least 6 inches below it, anyone who knows Marine lake will tell you that's a lot of water its a big lake.
Looking forward to the first sail in March next year.
Cheers,
Faz. :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
P.S. The Eldergarth is nearly ready.
