Cheers Spud,

It,s certainly a help but unsure what size esc for the bow thruster and likewise the 900 motor. Also unsure how to link two 12/7 batteries with a charge point safely.

Thanks for your help.

Will.

Hi will,
When I had one i used a 25 amp speed controller for the main drive motor, 10 amp for the bow thruster. But I fitted a car fan heater motor.
Also I removed all of the batteries just to lift it out of the water due to the  weight of it  ,no need for a charging point (sorry I can't help )

Good luck with your build

Spud

Thanks both for your help.

Now you mention it Spud I may  have a change of plan.Whilst it,s very neat to have the batteries etc. all in situ I had,nt thought through the practicalities of lifting the boat.
Shoul d there be any other OL11 builders reading I would welcome your input, advice, pictures of your layout etc.

Thanks,Will.
