Hi all just like to say what a great site for info, my main interest, are tugs harbour and ocean going tugs. As my father was a tugboat man serving on HM Rescue tugs  in the 2ww then many years after. I have a model of a Empire tug of the birch class needs a little work done on her so may need some help

Welcome to the forum Bob. It is especially interesting when a member has family connections to their hobby through work or pleasure in years past.

There are many fine builders on here and you will learn a lot even just by looking and reading! I look forward to seeing piccies of your work as well in due course and we will probaby learn from what you are doing :-))

Welcome to the forum Bob, you're in the right place for tugboat advice on this site, there are loads of tugboat builders here, sadly I'm not one of them (yet)  :embarrassed:


Don't worry about the questions they stop after about 5 posts........ U2
