Blimey, younger versions of us!!
I would date this 2004 or possibly 2005. The big manned battleships HMS Canopus and SMS Schleswig Holstein were launched in October 2003 and April 2004 respectively. I had the second run with the Holstein on the big lake at Beale ( thank you Richard :-)) ) and found the shallow bit, running the model aground 30 yards from the shore, most amusing!!
 I would imagine this is the late May event, which was always well served by traders.
Don't forget, the event is back again this year, over the Mayhem Weekend ( Not enough weekends to go round again :-) ), so all you south coast dwellers, see you there...
