I have just started a Solent Hull only and cabin. I am looking to fit a deck could anyone advise me on what material to use for the deck. I have been trying to source a plasticard sheet long enough to fit in one piece but I can not find a sheet big enough (48 inches).
Would it be ok to fit as one sheet or is easier to make the deck out of sections.
Any advise would be a great help.

Hello Bob, I buy my plasticard in full sheet (2 metre HIPS) the cost of which, inc vat = £8.95 which I think is reasonable.
2m lengths from here: http://www.bayplastics.co.uk/
I don't know about postage etc as I buy mine over the counter.
Possibly some similar company nearer to you ?
Hope this is of some help to you...
Regards,
Ray.

Thanks Ray.
Sheet ordered, postage was £14.00 but cheaper than going to them.

Ouch !
Didn't know it would cost that much in postage.
Just a thought for the future - have a look around industrial estates for companies that supply signage for shops etc...might be a one nearer to you.

Ray.
