Title: Can anyone help? - drill out and tap these pulleys
Post by: F4TCT on February 26, 2016, 06:03:51 pm
Hi chaps, I was wondering if anyone with some decent machining gear could possibly drill out and tap these pulleys to m5 x 0.8 thread for me?

The bore is currently 3mm and while I can manage the hold the pulley against the drills torque without any slippage, I just can't drill straight enough by hand. I need a pillar drill and one is on the cards but I need to sort my workshop space out first.

The pulleys are from motionco and if anyone can help then there's some beer money in it :) Im down to my last pair and I'd rather not ruin these.
