The Model Exchange Hobby Shop on the Coast Road at Greenfield, Holywell is to close down due to ill-health in April, unless the business can be sold. It may possibly stay open on Friday and Saturdays in April until all stock is sold off.
Until the shop closes, all stock will be sold off at a 20% discount of it's marked price.
We will be very disappointed tif we lose the last shop of it's kind in north Wales.
The shop is usually open every day except Thursday.

Has this shop actually closed as I don't think so ...I read the other day on a thread on Face Book that aparantly a lad who lives within 100yds of it was stating it is still open.......anyone know anything as i don't want a wasted 60 mile round trip

The shop closed at the end of June, but still opens now and then as they try to sell off the remaining stock.
The website has closed, but the shop is not empty or for sale.
Try phoning them, ...... OK, the system here won't let me post their phone number, I will PM it to you

Apparently the system is preventing phone numbers from showing in emails too.
Let's try again.... 01352 713027. This phone number was for the shop and the house.
The problem was I had cut and pasted from Google and I had not realising that it was a hyperlink. A plain copy worked.

Hi, when I went past yesterday 3/12/2017 all the shutters were down so couldn't see in . john the owner lived next to door to shop.he told me back In April they were running it down and would only stay open till end of july unless someone bought it.I was passing again in may and he said they would close down as nobody was interested

I am working in the area all week .
Went past in yesterday mid morning the in afternoon . Today in the morning and afternoon. The shutters were down and no sign of life .

that's very sad ,done a bit of buying and selling there and very friendly too ,had a fair bit in last june ..
