hi has anyone on here got a myford ML 4 lathe and if so are thay an good please

I used to have one a few years back, a superb machine in their time but really need to be in a museum now. Spares are like unicorn horn to find, I scrapped mine when the headstock bearings went although in all fairness the whole machine was wearing out (it was made in 1939!!)

As Paul states, they are usually on their last legs, unless they have been refurbished.

Hi Spike , I would look for a Boxford if i was you , Myfords are far overated , they were good in the 60,s but not now.
