Title: 3D Printing - Time for a new Mayhem Section?

With the increasing number of 3D Printing threads on the forum, is it time to give the subject it's own section on Mayhem? It would make it easier for users to find info on the subject. What do people think? Personally, i would like to find out a bit more about how to go about creating your own shapes, but there is so much info out there on the internet, that i'm a bit overwhelmed by it all :o  Anyone fancy writing a nice simple beginners guide???

Lump it in with the laser cutting which has been demoted down the bottom section labelled any other technical questions. {:-{ O0

Maybe a section called "New Fangled Technologies"

I think that both 3D printing and laser cutting should have their own headings.
 
As mentioned - maybe an over-arching heading "21st Century Techniques" with "3D", "Laser Cutting, "Water-jet Cutting" etc. as sub-headings?

I think that Ferries deserve their own heading too.
But to keep on topic I'll agree about 3D etc.

I'll make up a quick overview as well that can be added to the section

then...
"3D Designing & Printing"
and
"Laser & Water-Jet Cutting"
 
The "T, T, H & T" already exists - just add the two sub headings  :-))
