Title: Channel Mixer for F14
Post by: rob on April 01, 2016, 11:42:03 am
Good morning gents,
Before I go mad and convert my F14 to 2.4, does anyone know if anyone is doing a channel mixer for it.
All I want to do is mix throttle with sound, but have the ability to use the sound channel 'unlinked' for start up and Rev, before mixing it in to the throttle for normal running ( I've got a rotary or linear for the unlinked use)
I can do this with the DX10T of course, but not my F14.. . . . . Yet.
Many thanks for the knowledge I'm about to receive .

Hi Rob,

To help with an answer what sound setup do you use?

TomHugill  on here would be your man as I know he understands this (Benedini) product well - may be worth a PM to him

How do you currently trigger the "un linked" sound - engine start, rev etc?

I'd normally plug it inline with ESC line .

Hi Rob,

So it sounds like a standard setup(?) - or have I missed something?

Receiver output for throttle plugged in Benedini sound unit and then I presume the Benedini unit has a throttle out 3 pin socket that you would plug the ESC into, otherwise you would have to use a Y splitter cable (RX out to both ESC and sound unit)
