Hi folks,
does anyone know where I could get 1/24, 3 rail, flat stanchions the same as are on the Model Slipway Our Lass kit, BP Mouldings used to do them but it looks like the website has shut down?
Cheers,
Baz.

If no one comes forward with any thing , have you considered get in some photo etched . There s a company in Lochgilhead ,I had some done for my Fairmount ,I do not have a link I just did the Google thing . I can not remember the cost but it was not a lot of money. Just a thought only trying to help .

Silly question but have you asked Model slipway?
Sure they will sell spare parts if asked nicely.

Thanks David,
hadn't even thought about photo etching, I always thought that they were for smaller scales.
Hi Craig,
I got some from Model Slipway before but 1 of my friends tried them not long ago and they said they don't sell the parts separately anymore.

We DO sell them separately however we need the part numbers as there are two types of stanchions on the model.
It's the MAGGIE stanchions that we don't sell separately (not at the moment anyway).

We have had no luck at all with PPD. After three wrongly drawn and dimensioned etches we are going to Photo-etch Consultants. Speak to the ever friendly Rob, but bear in mind you have to have a computer file in .eps. They do not accept pen drawings any more which is a complete pain in the botty if, like me, you only do Rotring artwork.
