Title: Krick - Patricia
Post by: Ricketrider on May 23, 2016, 05:20:22 pm
Hi, Do any modellers out there have a copy of the build instructions for a Krick-Patricia? I have just acquired a complete original kit with the early steam plant but unfortunately the instructions are in German.

Kind regards,

Alan

Just a thought -

Krick is still in business,
and have a website.

Try sending them an email. They appear to speak english.

Alan.....can you scan the instructions to a .pdf file format?...then convert the file to Word .doc then do an auto translate from German to English

I did this for the instructions for the vessel Strongbow from a .pdf file into Word .doc for a mate over here in OZ..............the only issue was the final file size ended up at about 50MB because of the sketches embedded within the instructions [too large to e-mail]

Following images are the first few paragraphs from Strongbow's translation...............

PS...naturally there were a few words [Technical German?]....that didn't translate  {-).........Derek

Hi.  Thanks for your replies.  I have tried emailing Krick but sadly I have not received any sort of reply.  It looks like I may have to go down the longwinded translation route (or just guess how it goes together).

Thanks again.

Al
