hi I am going to using Vallejo paints is there surface primer is that ok or should I use something different
-
Mr Surfacer is a the best I have found
http://www.modeldisplayproducts.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=79_80
Or Tamiya Fine surface primer
I beleive Valejo also do their own
-
Vallejo do their own primer, also don't use tap water to dilute - even their modelair paint still requires some thinning for air brush use. If you can't get their thinner use distilled water as a diluent.

I've used it with Revell, Tamiya & Valejo paints with great success
I've just seen they do a range of primers now. Not tried them but will be ordering some shortly

Tamiya fine surface primer every day!
