Title: Ventilators
Post by: soggyboxers on August 01, 2016, 01:26:20 pm
Greetings from the Southern tip of Africa and hope someone can help. Building the Thornycroft mtb and need to make 6 identical ventilators. I know HSL mouldings supply them in resin but the exchange rate makes it a bit pricey from my side. Also, our postal service is iffy at best, so a bit chancy. I have approached a couple of places that do 3D mouldings but also very pricey.
Any advice?
Thanks guys.

Have you an illustration or a photo of the type and size that you need ?

A friend once made some for me from ⅜" plastic pipe elbows, and short lengths of pipe.  You can see one on the bow of my barge.

Thanks for the tip. It looks do-able. Still trying to work out how to post pics.

Hi this is how Bryan Young made his ventilators for his model? Just click on the link below and when the link opens, click on the picture link (sometimes the pictures don't open) :-)
