Hi chaps. I am just awaiting delivery of a 1:48 scale Castle class Corvette from David Metcalfe.
First big warship ship for me, and first scratch build (other than the hull of course)
How many of you have done this class of boat ? No doubt I will have several questions through the build......
I have a potential issue and am after some possible assistance. David Metcalfe phoned Thursday to let me know the hull is ready for shipping, but he is struggling to find the main scale drawings other than the deck plan.....obviously this will make building a little problematic to say the least !
David is hoping to still find the drawings, but if not, does anybody have the plans or indeed any drawings that would assist in the build ?
I could arrange for copies or scans to be carried out of course and return the plans all at my cost.

Cheers John. Oddly I didn't find that first plan until I searched again this morning after putting the post up - bizzare......
As it happens Dave Metcalfe has just emailed me and the plans have been found and on the way with the hull.....
That other link is great looking model - plenty of inspiration for me :-))

Hull has just arrived along with a full size scale set of plans ! Hoorar. Cant wait to start this
