I've been aware of a few of these Chinese boats about all covered in chrome parts but understand they can actually be turned into quite a good model with repainting and some added detail. There have been a few threads over the years on that topic.
Yesterday at the lake side I was able to see one close up but the real interest for me was the box it came in as there are other models in the range including HMS Havock a turtle back destroyer from 1902. There is also a US Fletcher and a few others I can't remember and I've only ever seen the aircraft carrier. Does anybody know who actually makes these and has anyone ever seen one of the other models?

I've made the Trumpeter Sovremenny, at 1/200 scale, it makes a good size model which could be converted to R/C.
Detail with supplied PE is very good. Model can be made either as Russian or Chinese version.
